The Clash core and clients run locally on your own device — proxy traffic is processed and forwarded there, never through clashoffice.com's servers. This page explains what information we come into contact with when you browse this site or download an installer.
1. What Information We Collect
clashoffice.com is a static software download and documentation site. It doesn't require an account, and we don't ship any telemetry code inside the Clash software. While you browse normally, our server and standard analytics tooling may log basic information such as:
- The pages visited, timestamps, and referring page
- Browser type, operating system, and general device info (from the User-Agent header)
- Request logs necessary to serve an installer download (e.g. the platform and architecture chosen)
This information is generally anonymized or aggregated and used only to understand site traffic, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance. We do not use it to identify individual users.
2. How Clash Itself Handles Data
The Clash core (e.g. mihomo) is released under the GPL-3.0 license. Its job is to route each network request according to your local config.yaml. Connection logs and traffic stats generated by the core and client are stored locally on your device by default, for local debugging and display only — none of it is uploaded to clashoffice.com or any official server.
If your config includes a subscription URL from a third-party node provider, the client will periodically fetch the node list from that URL. That exchange happens directly between your device and the subscription provider, has nothing to do with this site, and is governed by that provider's own privacy policy.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
This site may use minimal browser local storage (e.g. localStorage) to remember interface preferences like your chosen language, so your experience stays consistent across visits. This data stays on your own browser, is never uploaded or shared with other sites, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
4. Third-Party Links
Our download page may link out to third-party app stores (e.g. the App Store) or third-party-hosted installer files. Once you leave clashoffice.com, your data is governed by that destination's own privacy policy — please double-check the domain shown in your browser's address bar before downloading.
5. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption and reverse-proxy isolation of our origin servers to help keep this site available and secure, but no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Please also take reasonable steps to secure your own devices and accounts.
